離職疑惑
我現工作的合約將於8月31日完,該份合約相關詳情:
---Termination of employment contract
This contract may be terminated by the giving of one month's notice on either side or one month's salary paid by either party to the other in lieu of notice subject to the procedure (if applicable).
Annual leave cannot normally be counted as part of the period of notice of resignation.
The company shall only dismiss such staff for good and sufficient reasons. But in cases of grave breach of duty or conviction of any criminal offence any member of staff shall be subject to summary dismissal.
In the event that the appointee shall be compelled by reasons of ill health (not caused by his own default or misconduct) to relinquish his appointment, or if at any time it shall be certified by a qualified medical officer/practitioner nominated by the Committee that he is incapable, by reasons of any infirmity of mind or body, of rendering further efficient service, he shall be paid his salary and any benefits due to him up to the date of such relinquishment or certification provided that for the avoidance of doubt the provident fund to which he is a member shall be dealt with in accordance with the law and/or the requirements stipulated in the documents governing the provident fund.

我找了一份新工作,需在8月28日開始工作,我8月18日向公司申請8月28,29,30日這3日放無薪假,但不獲受理。
有朋友說因我現行合約未完,若我簽約8月28日開始在另一間公司工作,可能觸犯法律...?
若我選以代通知金解決應該支付多少錢?
